If we are faithless, he remains faithful–

James preached from this passage yesterday, and it was like balm to my soul. I never get tired of this Gospel truth: that God’s faithfulness to us rests not our performance–His love for us is not reciprocal to ours. But His faithfulness and love for the elect rests on his own, unchanging character. What a sweet and liberating truth.
