Ahh, it’s been a crazy week, and it’s not over. Got a million things to do today, so why not update my blog? Glad it’s Friday though. We have LBC Singles Retreat this weekend. Retreats are tiring, but I’m definitely looking forward to the Word of God being preached.

I was talking with the fiancee last night. We were talking about how we never really know what we believe until those convictions are challenged by life. For instance, it’s easy to believe you aren’t tempted by worldliness–until you win the lottery. I’d retell it, but I just googled it and found someone else did the legwork.

I’m sitting here in one of my favorite coffee shops (Urban Grind in Hillcrest), and I got off a long work phone call. Time to listen to my music. So I turn on my iTunes on my Macbook and start blasting a hymn, thinking I’m listening through my headphones. Towards the end of the song, I look at my phone and realize my headphones were plugged into the phone. I had been blasting my own music over the coffeeshop music. Fun times. Glad it’s Friday.

funny post. i caught my mom doing the headphones thing once. at the time, i thought to myself “a young person hip with technology would never fall for that.” guess i was wrong. haha
